Iranian Hospital Successfully Concludes Accreditation Canada Surveyors

Iranian Hospital has successfully completed the Accreditation Canada International (ACI) on-site survey from November 24–28, 2025. The survey was conducted by a team of expert surveyors Mr. Richard Bedard, Ms. Shaheena Sheikh, Ms. Penny Lipcsik, and Dr. Mohamed Fathy Osman who evaluated the hospital’s compliance with international quality and safety standards. Following the conclusion of the visit, two important meetings were held on November 28, 2025. The first took place with the Chairman, Dr. Doroudi, Chairman Iranian Hospital and the Senior Leadership Team, which the surveyors shared their overall impressions and thanked the leadership for their cooperation, commitment, and transparent engagement throughout the evaluation. A second meeting was then held with all hospital staff. During this session, the surveyors expressed their appreciation for the professionalism, warmth, and dedication demonstrated by the entire hospital team. The Accreditation Coordinator, Dr. Zeinalnezhad, likewise extended heartfelt thanks to the ACI survey team, the senior leadership, all staff members, and especially the teams directly involved in preparing and supporting the accreditation process. During the debriefing, ACI highlighted several key strengths observed across the hospital, including the high level of staff commitment, strong community engagement, comprehensive service capacity, and a deeply rooted people-centered care. The team also recognized the hospital’s solid practices in clinical pathways, infection control, medical device management, outpatient and emergency workflows, and patient flow management. Numerous units were praised for their strong teams, well-structured processes, and commitment to continuous improvement. Alongside these strengths, ACI identified opportunities for further enhancement. These insights will support the hospital’s ongoing efforts to elevate quality, safety, and patient experience. Accreditation Canada also outlined the next steps in the process, which include the release of the official accreditation report and decision, potential submission of supplementary evidence, development of an action plan addressing improvement opportunities, and a wrap-up teleconference to finalize all findings. Iranian Hospital expresses its deep gratitude to all staff, physicians, volunteers, and service providers for their remarkable dedication throughout the preparation and survey period, as well as to the patients and families who contributed their valuable feedback. The hospital remains fully committed to continuous quality improvement and to delivering the highest standards of safe, patient-centered healthcare to the community.
