Dr. Habil Grivani

Dr. Habil Grivani, MD, FACS is a board-certified specialist in general surgery who joined Iranian Hospital in January 2024. He received his Doctorate of Medicine in 2007. He has been working as a general surgeon since 2016.

His training and work in referral and specialized centers for specific diseases have made him a fully-fledged surgeon in gastrointestinal, colorectal, breast, oncosurgery, and hepatobiliary surgery.

Most of his surgeries are carried out via laparoscopy. His skills in surgery ensure a smooth postoperative period for patients. Furthermore, his experience in cosmetic surgery, brought from Iran, yields the best cosmetic results in surgeries.

He is equipped with experience from working in an academic referral women's hospital in Iran for two years, focusing on breast, bariatric, laparoscopic colorectal, and endometriosis surgery. Gaining experience in liver transplantation, hepatopancreatobiliary services, and at a referral center for cancer treatments—the Tehran University Cancer Institute—has given him insight into performing complex surgeries.

Now, he works as a dedicated general surgeon at Iranian Hospital Dubai, providing services in the outpatient clinic and emergency department. He manages and performs elective surgeries and participates in open heart surgeries.
