Middle East and North Africa (MENA)

The Iranian hospital is pleased to have represented the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) in a Middle East and North Africa (MENA) specialised workshop on social media engagement, organised and mediated by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) held in Dubai, UAE. The forum represented 16 National Societies in the region. The platform focused on efforts for humanitarian actors to better understand the opportunities and mechanisms of diversified communication channels and engagement strategies, including digital communication and social media to reach broader audiences and effectively promote social and behavioural changes across different demographics and socio-economic contexts and engage with at-risk populations.
